About This Ministry

Homer Kizer Ministries presently maintains more than a dozen websites that give to this ministry a far larger footprint on the Web than the ministry has in physical facilities—a more truthful understatement has probably never been made for the ministry works as the Apostle Paul did, not burdening those it teaches but trusting God to supply its needs as God moves the hearts of those who are taught by this ministry. And as Paul wondered if he had made a mistake in not asking for support when he had the right as a teacher to be supported by those whom he taught, this ministry ponders that same question. There is no doubt that this ministry has taught many around the world how to read Hebraic verse; there is no doubt that this ministry has introduced into Christian discourse the rhetoric of redemption. But so far, this educational ministry has freely given of its own very limited resources the knowledge it has.

By working as Paul did, this ministry is not beholden to human persons, fellowships, denominations, or ecclesiastical authorities. It is free to declare what it finds to be true when rereading prophecy and by extension, all of Scripture. It is only beholden to God to be absolutely truthful, even when doing so will cause offense.

This ministry maintains no membership list, no list of any kind except for an un-shared list of individuals who have asked to receive its most recent on-line postings when these postings become available. Thus contact with this ministry will not lead to further contact unless requested. However, questions will be answered in a timely manner. Follow-up questions will be answered, usually in a timely manner. And while these questions have traditionally been answered by e-correspondence, because of technical challenges here in the Aleutian Islands, they will now most likely be answered in posted on-line articles or papers.

The ministry began with the calling of Homer Kizer, then adjunct faculty at Paducah Community College, Paducah, Kentucky, and Southeastern Illinois College, Harrisburg, Illinois, to reread prophecy with the story of this calling and of being drafted into the Body of Christ told in A Philadelphia Apologetic, which has undergone several editions.

This ministry teaches that until dominion over the single kingdom of this world is taken from the Adversary and his angels and given to the Son of Man, a one-time occurrence to happen in the middle of seven end-time years of tribulation (see Dan 7:9–14; Rev 11:15–18; 12:7–12), all authority in this world comes through the present prince of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the Adversary, with humankind having been consigned to disobedience so that God can have mercy on all (Rom 11:32). This will have human persons being humanly born as serfs of the Adversary, employed in a demonstration to show that every form of governance not of God is doomed to fail (this includes democracy and representational democracy). This will also have all hierarchal authority, regardless of apparent origination, presently coming through the Adversary; so the civil authority that governs the fleshly body of the person (no matter where the person dwells) comes through the Adversary. Corporate authority comes through the Adversary. Religious authority comes through the Adversary … no human person should stand between the Believer and God. No imam, no priest, no pastor, no rabbi, which isn’t to say that a Believer isn’t under authority. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness” (Rom 6:16 ESV). The Believer chooses whom the Believer will obey, either sin [transgression of the Law] or obedience leading to righteousness, the manifestation of which is love for God, neighbor, and brother that has ontological presence in this world through keeping the Commandments.

The one-time giving of dominion over the kingdom of this world to the Son of Man serves as a witness mark by which biblical prophecies can be aligned, meaning that in Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus telling His disciples that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him (Matt 28:18) dates this utterance to the Endurance in Jesus, the last 1260 days of the seven end-time years of tribulation, meaning that the Jesus of Matthew’s Gospel is the indwelling Christ Jesus that gives “life” as a life-giving spirit (1 Cor 15:45; Gal 2:10) to Believers. As such, the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all the world pertains to the Endurance when the Holy Spirit has been poured out on all flesh (Joel 2:28) and even the animal natures of the great predators have been changed (Isa 11:6–9). Therefore, this ministry isn’t about making disciples, but about rereading prophecy and declaring the end-time Gospel that all who endure to the end shall be saved (Matt 24:13) as a witness to all nations (v. 14).

Again, this ministry is not about making disciples; not about warning humanity of rising sea levels caused by global warming, but about warning the world that there will be a Second Passover liberation of a second nation of Israel [all of greater Christendom] from indwelling sin and death, at which all uncovered [by the blood of Christ] firstborns, legal and biological, will perish in a day. It is this liberation of a second Israel, the nation to be circumcised of heart, that begins the seven end-time years of tribulation. And this liberation is near in time, not in the distant future.
